I am a graduate of Michigan State University, where I studied applications of machine learning algorithms and advanced mathematical techniques (from areas such as topology and graph theory) to biological datasets. I have practical experience designing and training neural networks in Keras, using parallel computing techniques for big data, and enough domain knowledge to reproduce the results of several published machine learning research papers. As a part of learning Python and popular libraries such as Numpy and Pandas, I have also coded several machine learning algorithms from scratch, including SVM, K-NN, ANN, CNN, Decision Trees, and Random Forest, and have applied them to toy datasets such as MNIST and IRIS. I also have experience creating static and interactive data visualizations using Python and Tableau.I'm currently working as an associate software developer at Auto Owners Insurance, where I am developing mainframe skills such as COBOL programming, CICS, and DB2.
