Designed and developed two OLAP cubes (Microsoft SQL Server and Analysis Services) and multiple reports to replace an aging SAS system that was taking over 12 hours to import, process and analyze transaction files each night. Processing was done by stored procedures. The new process took less than an hour and provided for responsive user designed reports.

• Developed secure web site holding the documentation of lab certified placement of loss prevention detectors in clients’ products. Written in Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server.• Wrote a web based merit raise management system that interacted with People Soft HR system. The system had to protect in hierarchical fashion the salaries and merit raises from those not authorized to see them. The system showed planned raises versus budgeted raises for a given department and all those that reported into them. Because of this system Tyco was able to stay within budget for the first time in recent history. Written in Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server and Oracle.

Design and develop an internal CRM and sales reporting website for managing both pre and post construction sales of luxury condos. Written in PHP and MySQL.

Redesign portions of the SQL Server databases that were having performance problems. Introduce partitioned views for scalability. Site had 20 millions hits per day.Wrote credit card transaction system to handle new subscriptions, recurring billing, and refund management for site members.

Design and develop Waypay.com, a transaction portal for websites using internet-based credit card transaction companies. The new system allows for companies to use multiple billing companies for a subscription model website.• Developed technology to spread risk among different merchant accounts. Configurable as a weighted system between different providers, allowing a website owner to put a predetermined percentage of transactions in a given merchant account. System handles rebalancing in the event a provider is down for a period.• System also allows for waterfall failover of billing providers with an unlimited number of failovers allowed.• A credit card decline failover system was also implemented that retried declined transactions on secondary billing providers, resulting in an average of 12% increase in authorizations.• System written in Visual Basic 6, SQL Server, COM+, ASP on Windows 2000.
