Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage the more than 20,000 alumni and current parents of MICA and strengthening current programs which provide tangible benefits to all alumni, parents, and current students.

Responsible for the implementation of a strategy for engaging current donors identified as having high net worth with the inclination to support the museum at a major gift level and or through a planned gift. Staff liasion to the special friends groups of the museum.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of the over all friend raising and fundraising strategies for the state’s oldest cultural nonprofit institution with an annual operating budget in excess of six million dollars, a collection of more than seven million pieces including historical: ephemera, paintings, silver, decorative arts, and textiles related to Maryland and a base of over five thousand members.

Responsible for the strategy and implementation of the solicitation and stewardship of restricted and unrestricted annual gifts from individuals to support the mission of the society. Achievements included double digit percentage growth in dollars to the fund. Promoted to Deputy Director for Development.

Managed the day to day operations of a local sports museum with high visitation; including retail operations, visitor services, human resources, and capital and facilities maintenance. Created new marketing initiatives which increased net revenue from retail sales and earned income. Staff liaison to the board of trustees for the Finance and Buildings and Grounds Committees.

Founded a neckwear (Necktie/Scarves/Accessories) design & manufacturing company. Clients included Smithsonian Institute, Metropolitan Museum of Art and numerous retail speciality shops and catalogs. Designed ties, scarves, suspenders that reflected patterns/pieces/themes in the collections of the nation's most prestigious museums and several specialty apparel catalogs.

Planned, directed, and implemented the marketing efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsible for coordinating activities of sales, advertising, and promotion.
