Senior Partner BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA David has been with the practice since 1984 and his experience covers a range of sectors and different scales of project. His earlier work includes The Mound Stand at Lord's Cricket Ground, Bracken House in the City of London, Portcullis House, the New Parliamentary Building at Westminster, Westminster Underground Station for the Jubilee Line Extension and the 'Utopia' building for Broughton Hall in North Yorkshire. David has extensive experience of regeneration and masterplanning work, including the regeneration of Hull City Centre for Yorkshire Forward, a masterplan for the northern end of the Bund in Shanghai, a mixed-use regeneration project in Hastings for SEEDA, the Northgate mixed-use development in Chester for ING, a masterplan for Walsall Urban Regeneration Co, and a new hotel and mixed-use development at Douglas, Isle of Man. Subsequent projects include the River Don Masterplan in Sheffield, the market redevelopment at Greenwich Town Centre in London, and a residential scheme in Pavshino, Moscow.David’s current work for the public sector includes a number of buildings which seek to improve and re-define the nature of Civic Buildings for local authorities - New Civic Offices for the London Borough of Hackney, and a landmark new Civic Centre and Library for Brent Council.He is also currently leading UK University projects at Bath Spa University (Student residential) and Swansea University (Faculty and Student Residential), and in the healthcare sector a new Dementia Care Campus which will improve the architecture of dementia care for the elderly.David has lectured on the practices work in the UK and abroad, most recently in Mexico to give a keynote address at the 8th International Congress for High Technology Bioclimatic Architecture and Sustainable Design.
