For the last four years my main responsibility has been the growth and development of my family. I have taken a few part time and volunteer positions with the understanding that they would allow me to remain focused on my most important customers. These have included, but are not limited to a current position in Facility Management for the Corporation of the Presiding Bishopric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a dog walking service, and setting up a business for my older children to run during the summer. With all my children now attending school I am excited to return to the workforce in a full time capacity.

I was tasked with the supervision of the Associate Development team and expanding our reach from two operational teams to all seven. This included the customer service training for over 50 departmental employees, process and policy documentation for seven different operational teams, and auditing claims and customer service calls throughout the department. Through constant communication with my team and across the company we were able to restore trust and a sense of teamwork that was missing before I accepted this role. Collaboration with other departmental teams was restored.

In this role I was looked at to resolve high dollar, and often higher urgency, customer concerns. Calls would come from several customer groups, and I was to find resolutions to each of their concerns. Customers often did not understand how our product worked along with typical health insurance. My job was to understand their concerns and communicate with them how we could work together to find a resolution. As a result of empathetic and tactful communication I was able to increase the financial savings in this position by an average of 25% each year.

Delivering frontline customer service was a passion of mine. I communicated with customers, both domestic and international, by email and over the phone to ensure the customer was using our product correctly. What made me successful in this position was having a desire to gain product knowledge so that I could share that knowledge with our customers. Knowing how our company worked, who was responsible for what and what I was able to do really cemented my ability to assist customers and build a solid foundation that would prove to be helpful for years to come.

As a Route Sales Representative I was responsible to deliver & engage with our clientele at Hill Air Force Base in Clearfield, UT. In this position I was looked at to build and maintain relationships to ensure that we were providing clients with the textiles they needed to do their jobs efficiently. One of the challenges in this position was communicating with customers and associates who didn’t speak your language. Creative communication was often required to bridge the communication gap and get the job done.

In this position I was responsible for high dollar inventory management. Ensuring that our customers product was being safely secured while reps identified the owners and where they wanted their product shipped.

My main responsibilities included picking, packing and shipping product to our customers worldwide. In this position I learned that every job has a customer service aspect, and that it is often portrayed in the details. The accuracy of which a product is picked, the care of how it is packaged, and the timeliness it is shipped are all seen by the customer, and reflect upon the company. I enjoyed taking pride in these details.
