An experienced senior academic with a background in research, teaching and higher education senior management, gained over 30 years in the UK, Asia and Middle East. Higher education management experience includes senior leadership in a UK business school and at a UK university overseas campus. Teaching experience from undergraduate through to executive education. Other senior roles have included research and knowledge exchange, curriculum development, quality assurance, student affairs, planning and monitoring, programme administration, and partnership validations.Originally studied as an environmental social scientist, before moving into management research and teaching. Research interests focused on Industrial Digitalisation (Industry 4.0), sustainability in supply chains, and the impact of operations strategy on innovation design (product, process and service). Research and consultancy conducted with industry and local government, including FTSE100 companies, small and medium sized enterprises and international firms.Teaching specialities: innovation and technology management, operations management, research skills, and work-based learning.Passionate about creativity and community.
