Managed fundraising events for causes to support veterans with PTSD. In particular, I focus on the logistics for the annual Grand Slam Adoption Event that takes place in Lakeland, Florida in support of SPCA Florida and K9s For Warriors. My job has been to make sure the event runs smoothly by coordinating volunteers and operational set-up. In addition, I facilitate photos and promote our activities on social media for the event.Achievements: ¥ Raised awareness for the Grand Slam Adoption Event charitable beneficiaries and helped over 60 dogs get adopted over the past two years¥ Conducted two successful events that have raised over $120,000 with over 83% of that coming from this year alone¥ Elevated attendance by 100% for the event since last year¥ Acquired major corporate sponsors such as Link AKC and JUST Water¥ Implemented new social media strategies including Snapchat On-Demand Geofilters

Coached and mentored the 6th grade boys basketball team at Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School. I instilled leadership and accountability in each player and taught them how they could each reach their potential. I planned weekly practices and strategy for weekend games, in addition to mentoring them and keeping them on track with their studies.Achievements:¥ Lead team to volunteer at local school events such as the book fair and helped with the after-school cleanup following practice¥ Placed 1st overall in our division and 2nd in the end of year tournament¥ Ingrained passion and work ethic in game of basketball and beyond in each of my players
