About Davis Murphy

I am a water resources engineer with focuses in open channel and floodplain hydraulics and hydrology. I have modeled hundreds of miles of rivers, both big and small, mainly for flood insurance studies and transportation drainage projects.My past experience as an engineering intern at the University of Louisville's Stream Institute exposed me to a wide range of stream restoration projects over 4 years. There I gained a foundation of knowledge in field survey, geomorphology, and stream mechanics that informs every aspect of my professional work today.
