Benefits Administration Consultant • Responsible for the day to day benefits administration of 2,800 staff members across the United States. • Ensures that all benefit programs are administered in compliance with federal standards and guidelines (i.e., ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ADA).• Develops, implements and facilitates education and communication activities and initiatives for all benefit plans, including new hire orientation. • Provides accurate, timely and thorough responses to inquiries while ensuring compliance with Plan documents, rules and regulations. • Actively participates in the Open Enrollment process to include updating internal documentation, assist with creation and delivery of internal memos and presentations, review and edit requirements documents and plan changes to external partners.• Work closely with vendor to coordinate the creation of the Annual Compensation and Benefits booklets. Booklets have won the Hermes Creative Awards and MarCom Gold Awards for design, illustration and overall publication.Defined Benefits Consultant – Pension Plan• Calculate and provide pension benefits for staff preparing for retirement. • Process life insurance death claims for pensioner and active population.• Assist with internal, external and SOX audits.• Provide annual compensation of pensionable earnings actuarial consultants for annual pension plan valuation.Defined Contribution Consultant – 401k Plan • Coordinate and manage the day –to-day processes of the 401k plan with the third party vendor.Employee Stock Purchase Plan Administrator (ESPP)• Run the plan according to the Stock Prospectus, handle annual enrollment, cancellations throughout the year and year end processing, delivery of the shares.• Managed ESPP Transformation Project, including system changes, resulting in elimination of manual processes to automation of all aspects of the Plan.
