As the managing director at Davis Landscape Architecture my roles range from sourcing and winning new projects, ensuring our existing high design standards are maintained and making all financial and strategic decisions within Davis Landscape Architecture. Our primary aim as a company is to provide clients with design solutions that exceed their expectations within their allocated budget, finding interesting bespoke design solution for each individual situation.Davis Landscape Architecture has a well established track record in the design and implementation of residential landscapes, mixed-use landscapes, school landscapes and office/ research park/ business park landscapes. I have a particular expertise in the design of podium deck landscape, particularly publicly accessible intensive roof landscapes located over basement car parks of large residential developments. We are well experienced in the design of housing developments, both low and high density. Where possible we like to encourage the adoption of ‘Home Zone’ and 'Shared Space' principals with a view to create better communities with an emphasis on the pedestrian.Davis Landscape Architecture is well experienced in all parts of the design process including concept design, detailed design, tender information and construction information. We have a good understanding of the UK Planning system and are able to provide clients with relevant landscape related information for submitting to the planners at all stages of the process. These include outline submissions, detailed submissions and providing information to satisfy landscape related conditions. In addition we have experience with Green Belt submissions.
