Working with clients to identify, scope, and manage integrated mine and environmental permitting, and engineering projects in the mining industry.
Sr. Mine Engineer
Responsibilities include permitting through state (DEQ, DOGM, DNR) and federal (USEPA, USFWS, BLM, USFS, OSM) regulators for coal mining and reclamation operations. Completed reclamation design and project management of all our mine sites. Final reclamation of our mine sites were completed in 2003, 2018, and 2019. Continuing duties include mine closure processes such as federal lease relinquishment, mine permit boundary reductions, phased bond release, vegetation and water monitoring. My role at PacifiCorp will end at the end of 2021. My goals moving past 2021 will be to share my years of mine engineering experience through consulting services.
