Donovan Design specializes in marketing promotion and identity design for corporations and nonprofit organizations.• Designed a WordPress website following the Public Art Process for the redevelopment of the Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. Established the theme; defined site map; placed and edited text, images and links; set up blog and analytics. www.nicolletmallart.org• Awarded identity projects for three Northeast Minneapolis organizations: Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, Central Avenue Business District and 13th Avenue Business District. Projects included community meetings, surveys, logo design and development, street signage.• Minnesota Newspaper Museum exhibit design. Designed user friendly display panels for historic, working printing presses and type setting machines. The museum is located on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in Saint Paul.• Collaborated with Blue Stem Heritage Group to design and produce exhibit graphics for the Twin Cities Model Train Museum. The images from vintage 1950s catalogs were formatted into contemporary banner designs.• Directed the design and content development of a 200 page cookbook for the Mill Reef Foundation in Antigua, West Indies. The cookbook features photo portraits of 30 cooks and over 200 recipes. • Led the design and production of the IFAI 100 Year Anniversary Exhibit in Boston. Mounted as part of the annual trade show, the exhibit showcased over 200 historic photographs and artifacts. Researched and gathered content; designed and directed production of the 1,000 square foot exhibit.

• Managed and designed three annual reports for a Fortune 500 company. Met with client, wrote project proposals, art directed photography, designed and produced artwork and supervised printing.• Designed and produced a variety of corporate communications, identity and signage projects for corporate and retail clients.• Introduced digital design and production to the office and trained staff.
