I used the Zoll EMR system to prepare ambulance cases for billing by using ICD-10 codes and creating trip narratives. I worked on emergent & non-emergent ambulance transports as well as dialysis round trips. I mainly focused on the NYC metro area and Orange & Dutchess County (NY) markets, but I also assisted the Wisconsin and Texas markets. I worked with the compliance department to ensure that documents for dialysis patients were released and approved in a timely manner.

I created coding sheets with ICD-10 and CPT codes, consultation reports, and operative reports by looking over emergency room reports and patient records. I used MacPractice to keep track of patient information. Our office's specialty is plastic surgery.
