Providing senior citizen support work in Southwest Iowa

I am currently substitute teaching in the Shenandoah, Sidney, Essex, Hamburg, and Clarinda Lutheran school districts in Southwest Iowa. I work with students Pre-K through high school in all curriculums.

I was the Farm Services Director where I interviewed hundreds of people outside of the station to gain insights on agriculture and rural living. In addition, I hosted a morning talk/interview show program and announced for various sporting and community events. I also contributed to the stations' website on a daily basis through audio and video segments.

I did insurance sales and financial advising.

I had the opportunity to "live the dream" by traveling the country with my wife performing musical theater, something I've always been passionate about. I worked in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Florida, and Colorado performing in a multitude of productions.

This was my first opportunity to work at KMA where I signed on the station, played music, conducted interviews, and announced sporting events.
