Responsible for the management of pre-construction and construction risks to help insure successful completion and delivery of tax credits or repayment of debt. The responsibilities include the evaluation of construction due diligence and documentation, negotiation with project sponsors, lenders and general contractors, review and commenting on relevant agreements to ensure compliance with the tax credit regulations and internal credit policies. Review includes the following items specifically; historic part 1 and part 2, environmental and geotechnical reports, utility availability letters, project budgets, general contractor's qualifications, contracts, schedules and schedule of values, permits, and architect's qualifications. Additionally, responsible for negotiating portions of legal documents such as the disbursement agreement and completion guaranty, analysis and commenting on construction portions of the financial projections, and insuring success collaborations with development team, attorneys, accountants, project management, syndications and post close team.

Responsible for managing a team of Construction Analysts who are responsible for monitoring US Bank Community Development Corporation’s Low Income Housing, New Market and Historic Tax Credit assets and US Bank Community Lending Division’s interests during construction. Ongoing responsibilities include; coaching and development, process improvement, quality control, portfolio assignments and evaluations, managing quarterly evaluations for third party professionals, problem resolution, and construction risk assessments, coordination between multiple departments to insure customer and risk issues are being addressed. Additionally responsibilities as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council include building awareness and developing processes for the Community Development Corporation and advising and coaching other managers on advancing our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program.
