After suffering an industrial accident at the age of 22, I was left with chronic and debilitating low back and hip pain. Like so many of my patients, I tried everything to relieve the pain bouncing from massage therapy to exercise therapy and everything in between – a typical fragmented approach. What I needed was a logical, cohesive treatment system to help heal me long term… and I quickly learned it didn’t exist. So I started to look for a better way. I have taken my background as a mechanic, my training as a massage therapist, physiotherapist, IMS and acupuncture practioner and learned how to implement prolotherapy, PRP and stem cells into a treatment process. That process is called Force Balance Technique™️.FBT™️ has been a game changer for chronically debilitated patients, pro and semi-pro athletes and everyone in between. We are always looking to collaborate with or hire those with a keen aptitude for results based treatment. Please check my website for a more detailed summary of FBT™️ - www.catalystkinetics.com. Force Balance Technique is under the "Physiotherapy" menu. Best of Health,Dean

Owner And Clinical DirectorPerformax Health Group 2008 - PresentBurnaby, Bc. CanadaI have developed a physiotherapeutic treatment algorithm called Force Balance Technique. I have come to realize that unfortunately, due to the varied nature of schooling (physio, massage, chiropractic, osteopathy, kinesiology etc.), most of us practitioners have been forced to "pick a team" and go with it. Again, and unfortunately, most teams lack access to all the "tools" necessary to complete the "job" and their approach to fixing mechanical problems varies greatly across the board. Enter: My Story. After badly injuring my lower back soon after graduating as a Massage Therapist in 1990 I realized our rehab medicine system was largely fragmented in its approach to resolving chronic issues. So I set off to understand the pitfalls of why this was so and soon added a physiotherapy degree, an ability to needle the body and effect its nervous system beneficially and an understanding of how prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma and stem cells could help heal chronic tissue injury. Throw in developing some proprietary methodology of therapeutic ultrasound and EMS (electro-muscular stimulation) and a whole lot of reading and clinical trial and voila, FBT was born.Force Balance Technique is:1) MANUAL: align and mobilize the skeleton and surrounding joint structures (hardware upgrade)2) NEUROMUSCULAR: re-program CNS and re-train neuromuscular system to control and condition neuro-motor patterns (software upgrade)3) REGENERATIVE: heal chronic connective tissue injury with regenerative medicine such as PRP and stem cells. This allows for essential structural stability supporting both healthy joint mechanics and powerful muscular recruitmentPlease check out my website www.performaxhealthgroup.com for a more detailed summary of Force Balance Technique. I intend our site to be a resource on how to implement Orthobiologics into your practice. Stay tuned for an eBook and a course on certification on how to become a Force Balance Technician. -
