-As trip leader for Camp Chief Hector, I worked very closely with a Co-leader. We were responsible for leading, teaching, and keeping safe a young adult group on four day and ten day backcountry hiking/camping trips.-Working with the group we planed a custom route and navigated remote wilderness areas.-Between trips we taught the group important skills for leadership roles, helped them build confidence in themselves, and the skills necessary for wilderness trekking.
