Project Manager - Business Transformation
I handled the delivery of digital and strategic projects in the Office of the Chief Executive until July 2021. Using agile delivery in a Salesforce, Mulesoft and smart forms (SmartIQ) environment, I planned and managed the implementation of projects and enhancements while managing a team of business analysts, process specialists and subject matter experts, while engaging with internal and external IT specialists for architectural, solution and integration requirements. One of the major projects I managed during this period was the design and development of a fully automated solution for Internationally Qualified Nurses and Midwives (IQNM) to allow them to seek registration in Australia. This was a multi-streamed and complex program involving Board, health policy and external vendors and IT consultants. The major technologies used have been Salesforce, Infiniti forms, Mulesoft, Biztalk and Pivotal CRM. I was also responsible for the administration of the Jira board and daily scrums with the multi-function team. From July 2021, as part of the wider business transformation program, I managed major projects including a total review and analysis of smart forms and applications including the facilitation of a common approach for all applications for registration for health practitioners.
Project Manager - Paramedicine
Working closely with the Executive Officer Paramedicine, the new Paramedicine Board of Australia and cross-directorate national teams within AHPRA, I was responsible for the implementation of paramedicine into the National Scheme. To ensure project success, all paramedics, employers and government departments needed to understand what national regulation means and more specifically, what it means for them. All systems and processes had to be in place to cater for nearly 18,000 applications over a three-month period from September 2018. This meant the development of registration standards, newsletters, social media and videos, fact sheets and the paramedic profession website in addition to a significant engagement with stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.Key responsibilities• establish, lead and manage the national project team tasked with implementing the COAG Health Council approved plan, including governance requirements of the project• manage the implementation and communication strategy for the transition of the profession to the National Scheme including the co-ordination of and participation in, national consultation and forums with key stakeholders• with the executive officer of paramedicine, lead the development of required registration standards, policies, and guidelines for the profession, and• manage the financial and human resources to ensure the project operated within budget and delivered identified outcomes on time. Communication and collaboration with all eight jurisdictional ambulance services, ADF and private companies, professional associations, tertiary educators, and practitioners across the country. Responsible for providing advice and guidance on technical, policy, governance and regulatory matters, and accreditation issues and coordinating the work of a specialist resource pool within AHPRA drawn from business services, process specialists, policy officers and SMEs, to ensure all deliverables were completed.
Project Manager, Sector Assurance, Health Technology
Working with the Victorian Public health services I conducted full project lifecycle assurance to ensure ICT projects in excess of $10 million were properly managed, risks identified and mitigated and planned benefits delivered. I was the primary contact between the Department, hospital project teams and the health service CIOs, to ensure success in their implementation of large scale EMR and other patient record systems.
Project Manager, Research Services
Project manager responsible for the implementation of several research projects including the Animal Facility and Bio Resources management systems at Peter Mac Cancer Research Services. These projects had aggressive timeframes to enable completion prior to the move to the new VCCC facility at Parkville. Budget: $900K
Project Manager
AHPRA is a national organisation established to implement a national regulatory system for health professionals. AHPRA and the National Boards each have a set of responsibilities and functions that are set out in the National Law, in force in each Australian state and territory. For over 18 months, I was engaged in the Continuous Improvement Program of work to manage major upgrades and improvements to online and system-based applications - Biztalk, Mulesoft, CRM, Salesforce, Infiniti Forms, Smart IQ, Sitecore, Pivotal, Budget: $2m
Senior Project Manager

Project Manager
Accumulated over 4,000 hours of PM experience during this period, managing internal IT and business projects/programs of differing sizes – from $25K to over $1 million - throughout the full project lifecycle.
