As the Apprenticeship Director, I organized and set up the first small business Cybersecurity Apprenticeship in the state of South Carolina and serve as the program director. I am a strong advocate for career opportunities for underrepresented populations. I helped promote the necessity of such programs on state and national levels partnering with the USDOL as well as Trident Technical College. As an advocate for Apprenticeships in Cybersecurity, I have spoken at numerous conferences such as NICE, ISC(2), NICE K12, SC Education & Business Summit, etc., and I have spoken on numerous webinars promoting Apprenticeships in Cybersecurity as an answer to the workforce shortage gap and diversity within the cyber workspace.
