My focus currently is on education and health care for women and girls in the developing world. We strongly believe in their mission of a holistic approach to fighting poverty through education, health care and numerous other social services. I am also currently working on a website WomenInTheBible.org that lists all the references to women in the Bible and provides feminist commentary. This website will highlight all of the passages that refer to women and provide empowering interpretation that can be used by the academic as well as the layperson. My hope is to one day develop Bible studies that show God's desire for women to be leaders in all areas and can be used worldwide. I sit on the Yale Divinity School Advisory Council and our foundation has sponsored a partial scholarship called the Grant Me The Wisdom Women's Scholarship. It is for a woman who has come to study at Yale, becomes ordained in her Christian denomination of choice, and returns to the developing world to teach and empower women and girls. I also sit on an advisory board for Impact Partners which is a documentary film investment group. IP believes that documentary films can change the world for the better. I do gender lens investing also.
