Debi is a Senior Conversion Consultant with Newport Group. Debi has worked in the retirement plan industry for the past 18 years and has been with Newport Group for over 4 years. Debi works with a variety of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans, including profit sharing, 401(k), 403(b), 457 and Cash Balance plans. In her current role, Debi converts and implements the plan set up and transfer of funds from the previous custodian. This includes facilitating required DOL notices to plan participants, plan setup, and transfer of assets for a smooth transition for plan sponsor and plan participants. She also provides website and payroll processing training with the plan sponsors and financial advisors.
