Profile bio

About Deborah Rose

I am a Neurology resident with growing experience in the study and treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), as well as research related to disparities in healthcare treatment. My clinical practice and research are focused on addressing the impact of socio-environmental disadvantages on cognition throughout the life course. I have a unique niche in medicine as a future behavioral neurologist because I will focus on addressing the structural and social drivers of health that impact healthy cognitive aging. I am particularly passionate about tackling the public health problems of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and vascular contributions to cognitive impairment (the sequela of uncontrolled cardiovascular and metabolic diseases), as these conditions represent a tremendous challenge in our society and disproportionately impact racial and ethnic minoritized communities, who are especially vulnerable to structural and social disadvantages.

Listed skills include Spanish, Vocalist, Social Skills, Community Outreach, and 13 others.
