About Deborah Herbert

When I am not at the office, I thoroughly enjoy volunteering and connecting with the community. While living in Texas, I was very involved in the lives of people around me whether through teaching, mentoring, leading small groups, or meeting a need hands on. I was an Instructor at Wisdom Bible Institute for 7 years. In addition to teaching Wednesday night classes at Community Church, I acted as their Women’s Pastor and a volunteer youth sponsor for two years. I also spent time as a Faith Based Counselor at Community Christian School. For fun I assisted the owner of Refined Designs as an Event Coordinator/Decorator. Upon moving to Birmingham I joined Church of the Highlands, and recently joined their Events Dream Team. A great way to connect with people outside of work. I am also currently building a home business of primarily organic, handcrafte products. A business with a philanthropic nature. I am always looking for ways to serve, give and create.
