Working with our partners at The Greater Vancouver Food Bank, The Salvation Army and a team of volunteers, The Marpole Community Food Hub provides food security to over 200 families in the neighbourhood. Coordinating the needs of the Food Hub has been an eye opening and valuable learning experience regarding the intricacies of the supply and demand of food distribution throughout the lower mainland. It has been an incredible opportunity to build a greater understanding of the needs of the community and how to meet these needs in a way that is respectful and supportive.
