About Robert Jago
I am restless in my work, and I'm doing a lot of different things, but the unifying vision for all of it is in my belief in stronger First Nations civil society. There are a million people working on strengthening First Nations band governments, but very few people working on the things that keep those governments in check, and lead to independence and prosperity for regular Indigenous people. Some of the things that don't fit in a LinkedIn profile is my work holding band meetings and conferences on different governance topics, grant submissions to launch Indigenous data science and web development co-op programs, work on pushing civil liberties organizations to include First Nations citizens (in their relations to band governments) in their work, and work with other First Nations people in helping them organize and get media attention on their issues.
Listed skills include Social Media, Teaching, Program Management, Curriculum Design, and 17 others.
