Danielle Edwards, MSN-Ed, RN, CMSRN, CNE is the Executive Director of Nursing Services at Grand Canyon University (GCU), where she brings a wealth of experience and expertise in nursing education and clinical practice to her role. Prior to her current position at GCU, Mrs. Edwards held various roles in nursing education, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of nurses. Before transitioning to nursing education, Mrs. Edwards gained invaluable clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oncology, where she provided compassionate care to patients facing challenging diagnoses. Her firsthand experience in clinical practice informs her approach to nursing education and leadership, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.In addition to her role at GCU, Mrs. Edwards is actively involved in professional associations such as Sigma Theta Tau and the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, where she contribute to advancing nursing practice and promoting excellence in healthcare.
