Set patients up with respiratory assist devices, monitor compliance, billing submission for devices. Supplied/replaced DME, renewed supplies I.e. masks, tubing, filters, and, compliance reports. These were provided to patients for DOT physicals, surgeons, or primary care providers who use these for prescription renewal, to ensure OSA is being treated adequately. Inventory replenishment for active patients and incoming patients who have been prescribed pap therapy.

I assisted Administrator, company officers, Marketing Director, and all of the Clinic Directors. I maintained that all 3 clinics Administrative Assistants were working on same level of expertise following paperwork protocol, and charting procedure. I also maintained daily deposits as all monies came to me daily and all mail payments from insurance and monies from patients. I set up payment arrangements for those that could not pay their co-pays upfront. I set up pre certs and prior authorizations for private insurance as well as Medicaid and Medicare patients. I set up cash pay patients accounts and authorized write offs that I was approved to take care of. If there was a special circumstance situation I went to Administrator for approval. I took meeting minutes for all Director meetings, I dictated or put to paper the private meetings of all company officers and administration. Any new procedures or clinic operations I would train office staff for implementation. I also took any insurance courses available to ensure all locations were working with updated information. I took customer complaints and would rectify them if they were in range of my position.. If I was unsure or it was an escalating complaint I collected all information from complainant then made sure all information was available to Administration to best make a decision. I also daily entered into a central billing program the daily procedures with CPT codes and all diagnosis codes for the insurance specialist to bill. I assisted with marketing the clinic as needed and would travel to any location to cover office staff who were on vacation or to cover the desk if an employee needed to be hired. I also set up a billing policy and procedure manual that was used at each location. I helped implement collecting insurance co pays at time of service rendered. This position was created for me. My job was unique as it encompassed many different parts of the operation.
