As a skilled IT professional with 5 years of experience, I have a strong track record of success in both systems administration and field technician roles. I am currently looking to specialize in Cyber Security and have recently earned the (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity certificate. In my most recent position as a Junior Systems Administrator at Carlson Technology Solutions, I successfully resolved Tier 1 & 2 support tickets and implemented Acronis Cyber Protect on Windows servers to maintain data integrity and availability. I also responded to monitoring alerts for email intrusion and implemented Two-Factor Authentication using Zix|Appriver. In addition, I provided training and documentation to new technicians and helped them to adopt best practices for cyber security.As a Field Technician at Carlson Technology Solutions, I upgraded the networks and computers of over 30 dental clients, installed and upgraded Unifi networks, and upgraded over 300 computers to Windows 10. I also provided onsite and remote training to staff and doctors on new and existing technologies in a friendly and charismatic way.Throughout my career, I have developed excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, which I attribute to my time in the US Army as a Fire Support Specialist.
