Sourcing Analyst
CurrentDevelop and maintain relationships with the sales team, management, other Division Sourcing Specialists and our suppliersA main point of Contact for Corrugated & Industrial Sourcing requests for the Division from sales and customer service.Manage Sourcing inquiries via Webcenter, Email or Phone call request.Help analyze data to identify best in class suppliers and cost opportunities.Work with the Sales team, Sales Managers and Division Managers to review costing, create cost comparisons and prepare price quotations in a professional and timely manner.Project manage sourcing activity related to bids, business reviews and custom projects.Work closely with the Customer Service departments as price quotations and bids are realized.Work closely with Purchasing departments to align suppliers they should use, and assist with purchasing analysis.Source (and re-source) costs from suppliers for new and existing business to find best cost opportunity.Own the new item set up process for items.Own the process for buyout items that require changes (resourcing existing business as necessary).Assist in handling quality issues with suppliers in accordance with the Premier quality control team and its policies.Create and manage customer industrial & corrugated quotes.Support customer samples and trial products from Suppliers as required.Provide feedback if needed for supplier business reviews/visits.Maintain the central document for supplier information.Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures.
