Backend Architect
Current- Seamless migration of an EC2-based Kafka cluster to Amazon MSK, ensuring zero data loss and uninterrupted operation of surrounding services in multiple phases. This involved carefully planning, coordination with stakeholders and executing the migration process to maintain consistency and reliability for both intra-service and inter-service communication.- Implemented a GitLab CI/CD pipeline to streamline managing critical files across 15 games within platform. This initiative improved deployment efficiency and ensured seamless version control for key assets, enhancing reliability- Enhanced monitoring capabilities by integrating Grafana with chat systems, resolved chat-related bugs to improve reliability, and developed the dealer module's chat feature to enable one way communication between support team and dealers. - Conducted stress testing to identifying performance bottlenecks- Identified issues in the existing communication protocol between the client and game server which can impact future transition from XML to Json. Currently developing a library to support both JSON and XML-based serialization protocols, ensuring backward compatibility and enforcing standard way of in-game messaging.
