Using simple technologies and social context to design tools, we have been able to impact communities- more than 2.5 million users in over 15 Indian States, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Namibia and South Africa. Presently, managing BMGF funded innovation project to ascertain use of mobile based technology to reach out to rural population. Capacity building: a) Working with PRIs representatives and Facilitating the decision making in a participative and democratic manner at Gram and Ward Sabhas, b) Preparation of Village Development plan under Intensive Participatory Planning Exercise in every ward of the district and c) Enabling PRIs to internalize the process of social audit.Project Management: a) Implementation of Handloom Development Scheme in Kadirganj Cluster for improvement of artisans, b) Financial inclusion of MGNREGA labourers and facilitating payment of wages through banks in a transparent manner, c) Facilitating construction of over 13,000 Individual Household Toilets through convergence of MGNREGS & NBA in Nawada district, and d) Enrollment of families, empanelment of hospitals and implementation of Rastriya Swasthya Bima Yojana in Nawada District during 2015-16.Innovations: a) Strengthened Grievance redressal system in the district for petitions received during Janta Darbaar, b) Working with Birhors (PVTGs) to improve their social and economic status in Kowakole block of Nawada District and c) Conducting social audit to ensure the transparency and accountability of institutions and individuals.
