My interest in the field of engineering developed during my childhood. My father runs a mechanical based industry, where mild steel and stainless steel kitchen equipments (burners, tables, bulky rice cookers) manufacturing are the major production. I grew up by seeing all the functional activities behind the production. My interest turned into passion afterwards and when the time came for choosing a career, I opted to pursue my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I was also motivated to contribute something extra to our industry and giving a shoulder to my father for sharing the loads in business.I completed my undergraduate studies from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) Kanjirapally, Kottayam, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, which is one of the reputed universities in our country. During the second year of my studies, a serious crisis affected my dads business. The dismissal of a few employees, due to misconduct, led to strike and shut down of industry for a few months, which resulted in huge loss in the production. As my complete support for my family was inevitable during such a period, I had to assist my father in work along with studies. Due to the continuous efforts and hard work of about two years, the situation changed for the better and our firm achieved a complete retrieval of hold in the market. From that time onwards, I started concentrating more on handling the human resources of our industry.As an achievement, I can proudly say, I implemented various reforms in my industry with the aid of management subjects taught in engineering classes. It helped my father in setting up various measures for enhancing effective and systematic control of employees. Apart from this, I assist him in designing various models of items to be produced with the aid of design software AutoCAD.
