Technip was awarded by JBF Petrochemicals, an contract for a 1.25 million tons per year latest-generation purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit, to be located in the Special Economic Zone in Mangalore, India.The contract covers the basic engineering, front-end engineering design, detailed engineering and procurement services for the ISBL (Inside Battery Limit) and the OSBL (Outside Battery Limit) of the unit. The scope of work also includes supply of materials and construction management services for the ISBL. The plant will feature BP’s leading-edge proprietary PTA technology.My Roles and Responsibilities :- Coordinating with Technip's Procurement / Expeditor team for shipment forecast and readiness of cargo- Coordinating with suppliers and making arrangements for shipping as per project guidelines which includes overseeing packing / shipping marks printed on package and getting proper documents prepared for custom clearance / site requirement / internal accounting purpose- Issuing shipping instruction to LSP (deugro) for making arrangements for pick-up / shipping of cargo at earliest and coordinating with them- Checking / approving "Bill of Lading", coordinating with Technip's Account Department for arranging documents for preparation of "High Sea Sales" (HSS) documents and preparing the HSS documents- Sending full set of required documents to site before shipment arrival as per project guidelines- Checking the draft "Bill of Entry" (BoE) and accordingly giving confirmation to LSP for filing of correct BoE for Import Custom Clearance- Keeping full track on each and every shipment's transit time and intervene / sort out the issue whenever there is any delay or issue- Coordinating with LSP for timely submission of BoE of the shipments, handing over the BoE to Technip's account department and maintaining a file / record for thisApprox. 55000 FRT ++ Cargo was shipped in this project from Worldwide locations.

Roles and Responsibilities :- Work with the National Project team and Overseas offices- Prepare pricing for the Project and Spot shipments- Execution support (including Export-Import documentation / LC / BL) of the project/shipment - Getting involved in port operations- Handling shipment as well as project wise job file for Accounts Department i.e. raising Invoice to clients, following-up for the payment and booking Invoices / managing outstanding of vendors.
