Continuing the rich boot camp experience from Deep Dive Coders, I further developed the curriculum to be more robust, modern, and responsive to the demands of the New Mexico tech sector. The curriculum was also updated to incorporate the latest technologies such as Angular, while increasing the emphasis on object oriented design and best practices. In practice, I am a leader of day-to-day software projects, constantly coding, iterating, and learning new things.

I am an instructor at a boot camp for web developers. In a comprehensive 10 week program, the students will learn all aspects of web development using PHP, mySQL, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to the technical content, topics such as web design and search engine optimization (SEO) are covered.

I was a Java developer on a Apache/Tomcat platform that later migrated to a JBOSS platform for a 3 Party Logistics company (3PL). I was responsible for developing and supporting integrations via SOAP, RESTful methods, and EDI.

I ran my own consulting business after graduate school. Among the more interesting jobs I did was screen scraping all the locations of a major chain starting at a certain geographical point and expanding out to include the entire continental United States.

I implemented the network infrastructure including the firewall, mail/DNS services, and internal web services using the LAMP stack. I also setup and supported the company's 4GL based database system. I also developed and tested customizations and enhancements to the 4GL system.
