BarclaysAPI’s to monitor the flow of data to upstream and downstream systems from the central Data Repository of Barclays for UK clients.Responsibilities:● Involved in understanding User stories, Refining User stories for test, creating test scenarios and test cases in sprint planning week. Then performing manual execution of api’s using Insomnia and Postman tools and performing automation of user stories.● Involved in user stories/test cases automation and API testing.● Maintaining In Memory Acceptance Test(Mocking framework using Mockito) test suites for API, functional test.● Acting as POC for various upstream/downstream Application’s in End to End Testing.● Developing API BDD/Cucumber Automation Testing Framework using Rest Assured.● Fetching queries from Microsoft SQL Database in the process of testing to validate responses.● Using tools like superPutty to verify logs from secure shell sessions.● Accessing Jenkins tool to verify build results using GIT as Source Code Management tool.● Automating test cases for API using Rest Assured.● Responsible for communicating with the client on a daily basis.● Responsible for on UAT testing● Communicating with Consumers on their queries.● Responsible for Status Reporting and following all agile meetings.
