About Sean O'Brien

As a Software Engineering Manager at HP, I lead a team developing a cloud-based customer engagement platform. My background is diverse, beginning with a degree in Industrial Design.I started my journey at Rubbermaid, spending five years designing household products and advancing from an intern to a Senior Designer. Next, I served nearly nine years at a molded fiber company, designing products, engineering their molds, and managing external production of those molds. It was during this time that I taught myself web design and development.Following a layoff, I put these skills to work and established my own web design and development business. For four years, I honed my ability to create digital experiences that resonated with users and fulfilled client needs.Now at HP, I apply these experiences to manage the creation of a communication system that improves customer engagement while safeguarding privacy.I enjoy road biking, mountain biking, and music production in my free time.
