Jan 2022 - CurrentQuantitative Methods in Social Sciences (QMSS)May 2021- Dec 2022Psychology Department Taught a service learning course for about 50 undergraduate Psychology students each semester. I collaborated with community organizations, for-profits, and University offices to create service learning site internships for students that will aid in student development and advancing the organization/company's mission. The course component covered how students can use their degree post graduation through a series of professional development workshops and a guest speaker series. Additionally, I oversaw 4-7 undergraduate Group Leaders who are liaisons between the site placements, the teaching team, and the students.

In this position, I am working with a small team to create an online version of an existing data visualization course. Tasks I conduct in this position include: reviewing existing lesson plans and giving feedback to enhance effectiveness of materials, applying my concrete skills and strategies for interpreting and visualizing community data, (including learning in R, Tableau and QGIS) and interpreting and visualizing data from a wide variety of sources.
