Responsibilities include controlling P&L, leasing strategy, property development, cyclical maintenance, strategic business planning, marketing and programming for this public sector SBU.Generated new business from consultancy, channel partners and the introduction of fresh initiatives including creation of a 7,000-seat outdoor performance site and a 2,000 seat temporary venue from under utilised space via joint ventures with alternative business partners. Created and managed the success of 7 new food and beverage outlets, 3 in-house catering contracts and a site concessionaire to service more than 1 million customers per annum. Also continue to provide ad hoc consultancy to other departments within Singapore Sports Council on Sports Hub and other international commercial development projects (Taiwan and China). The venue markets its services to a network of international arts and entertainment promoters (including ESPN, Feld Entertainment, Live Nation and MTV) with audience figures set to peak this year at more than 1.5 million. Every major international concert, arts event and indoor sports event held in Singapore is featured at this venue. In addition, the site has an obligation to remain accessible and maintain utilization rates as a community facility for the arts, leisure, sports and educational access.
