Developed the vision for the communities’ largest business organization and worked closely with community partners to promote, educate and advocate for chamber member businesses. Responsible for creating and coordinating all programming and events for the chamber. Responsibilities included designing marketing campaigns for each program or event, gaining funding for each event through sponsorships and ticket sales and coordinating with volunteer groups and vendors to ensure a successful event. Identified two underutilized areas of our business community and created events to appeal to those groups. Our Women in Business luncheon and award-winning Farm to Table Dinner have since grown to become the top two revenue generating programs for the Chamber. Responsible for coordinating the Chamber staff, volunteer Chamber ambassadors, Mayfield Young Professional’s group officers, the Leadership Mayfield class and a high school intern.
