There is a difference between home builders and home creators. Builders assemble parts; creators build the impossible. At D. Carlson Construction, Inc., we create homes. I always say that the sign of a great home isn’t how good it looks when the creation process is finished, but more importantly, how well it stands the test of time. My name is Dennis Carlson, and I am the Founder, President and CEO of D. Carlson Construction, Inc. My company specializes in high-end custom home building and remodeling. I’ve narrowed the art of home-building down to a science; a science so exact that it transcends the ability to merely build and construct, and allows me focus on what matters the most to my clients: creating the full sensory experience of “coming home.” My personal background in the military and as a carpenter are very much a part of my present day success. Having served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, I know what it means to effectively lead a team, and have a very precise methodology when it comes to creating homes for my clients and helping them reach their creative goals. We run our office in a very systematic way, but at heart, we love to have a lot of fun along the way. Our office is filled with laughter as much as it is filled with brainstorming, standard business protocol and sleepless nights of paperwork. We love what we do, and laughter is the like the oil that keeps the machine running smoothly. I believe that a good sense of humor and the ability to see the lighter side of things has helped build my company’s success in terms of strengthening client relations and ensuring that my team enjoys the collaborative process of creating exceptional homes.
