Assistant Scout Executive. Serving as second in command to the Scout Executive/CEO in Albany, NY. The Council has 13 staff members, a $2.2M budget and serves 7,700 youth in thirteen counties in Upstate New York.Responsibilities include: Managing/Coaching Field Staff, Membership Management including recruitment and new-unit campaign, Community Friends of Scouting campaigns, Special Event Planning, Grant Writing, Staff Development, Board Development, Strategic and Long Range Planning, Volunteer Training, Leadership Training, Community Outreach, Annual Giving, Scoutreach, Servant Leadership, and Budget ManagementServing as staff advisor for Program, Commissioner Service, Membership, NCAP, Camping, and District Operations.

I currently oversee two active Boy Scout Camps, a Cub Scout resident camp, two other year round camp properties as well as I have become successful in grant writing and grant finding. I am the advisor to many Council committees and serve as the Cubmaster for the Pack that includes my two sons.

Currently oversee seven properties for the Council, including two active Boy Scout Camps, a Cub Scout Camp, two additional former Boy Scout Camp properties. I supervise three Rangers and oversee more than 2000 campers in the summer and coordinate Council Activities with a dedicated volunteer staff.

I oversee a network of more than 1,000 adult volunteers who provide the Scouting program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, and Exploring) to more than 2,500 youth in Albany County, New York.

I served over 1100 youth and more than 400 volunteers in Delaware County promoting the Scouting program which helps the development of youth by instilling values of character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.
