After training, I will be shifting through areas such as maintenance planning, equipment tracking, coal quality and logistics, lab analysis, production reporting and tracking, etc., and following many of the employees and engineers in these positions. I plan on learning more about the coal industry and using this experience to help further my career options.

While searching for a job to maintain during my school year, I came across a "Prep Cook" position at Bent Run Brewing Company in Warren, Pennsylvania. Going into this job, I had little knowledge in cooking and preparing food. I was unprepared for the job. Within one week, I had mastered the fryers. I had remembered all meals that contained fries or chips, knew the correct portion amounts for all appetizers and sides, and was able to manage the station under hard pressure due to the high activity at the brewery. For the past two years, I have mastered every station in the kitchen: food preparation, pizza making station, and the taco and salad making station. I have also been able to achieve a position in running the kitchen; in charge of the staff, assigning people stations, keeping track of orders, and teaching the employees the basics and stations. Through my eagerness in learning, I have been able to become a successful employee and use many techniques I have learned throughout my life. I treat all my employees like family and have good relationships with all of them.I am currently attending school far away from my job, but on breaks and summer vacation I plan on getting a few hours there.
