It seems a little like a past life now, but I am deeply passionate about all aspects of geology, but Tectonics and Structural Geology in particular. I love getting hands-on in the field and like to approach geological questions from several angles, integrating a number of different field and analytical methods to decipher the events and processes that have shaped the Earth through time. My geology research typically involves the use geophysical and remotely sensed data during planning and project design, fieldwork to gather samples as well as structural and stratigraphic data, followed by various analytical techniques including mineral and bulk geochemistry, as well as multi-mineral U-Pb and Argon geochronology.
