(Structure Team Leader) HuaXi Hospital Project, ChengDu City, China Hua xi hospital is a new four-story with 1 level of basement building that was designed to the highest earthquake resistant level and TMD was used in this structure.My role as a Structure Team Leader; my key responsibility were:- Managed a team of 2 Junior Structure Engineers; responsible for the building foundation design package and the structure design package.- Collaborated with clients and architects to define project scope and requirements- Interfaced with other design disciplines, including Building Services and Façade; to review, adjust, and optimize designs.- Arranged weekly design review sessions with other design teams and relevant delivery team representatives to identify and resolve design clashes.- Performed Construction Design Services in the project delivery team; managed and responded to Requests For Information (RFI) as they arose.- Worked with the independent proof engineering party; obtained the Proofing Design Certificate.- Interfaced with Government Authorities and Clients to ensure the design packages passed their assessments. (Structure Engineer) Three Gorges Medical Center, ChongQing City, China Three Gorges Medical Center is a comprehensive medical complex; including two towers of 20 stories and an underground car park.I was part of the Structure Design team; participated in the building structure design and basement design.- Interpreted the concept structural models; performed design loading analysis to determine the dimensions of key structural elements as well as the steel reinforcement details.- Based on the structural analysis outcomes; defined the structural element layout.
