• Responsible for monitoring existing holdings and evaluating potential investment opportunities across the Energy, Metals & Mining, Industrial and Chemical sectors.• Coverage across the credit risk spectrum, including leveraged loans, investment grade and high yield.• Perform detailed financial and valuation analysis in order to generate actionable investment ideas across the capital structure.

• Assist in managing a portfolio of Private Equity investments in the E&P space, including assets in the Eagle Ford, Permian and other basins.• Actively sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the E&P space. • Leading negotiations involving development funding, non-op joint ventures, acreage swaps, pooling, etc. • Act as the key liaison between the Fund and bankers for any A&D activity. • Develop and present marketing materials for our clients and partners. • Conduct primary research and generate written opinions on numerous high-yield, leveraged loan, and equity securities. Perform detailed financial and valuation analysis, channel checks, and evaluate competitive dynamics of investment prospects in order to generate actionable investment ideas across the capital structure.• Maintain coverage of companies and industry trends in E&P, Coal, and Metals & Mining. Attend industry and company conferences to build contacts and gain insight.• Communicate one-on-one with corporate management teams to better understand operating strategies, financial goals, market trends, and various risks. Huff employs a grassroots style of research, heavily based on calls to management teams, industry insiders and competitors.• Construct and maintain financial models to test forward looking revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow sensitivities to a variety of market scenarios. Perform relevant valuation analyses (SOTP, DCF, NAV, Comps).
