Stir is a developer of smart kinetic desks for homes and commercial entities. I was one of the first 15 employees. The technology we created was acquired by one of the largest commercial furniture company in the world.- Lead mechanical engineering in the design, qualification, and launch of 4 new products - Developed rough project timelines and cost estimates as inputs to program planning- Delivered 40% cost reduction in 2nd generation product in 8 month time frame and another 50% cost reduction on the 3rd generation product- Created engineering systems and processes (Product Lifecycle Management(PLM), DFMEA’s, Preliminary Design Review, Complete Design Reviews, ECR’s)- Designed and built a customer approved test lab that conformed to BIFMA/ANSI X5.5-2014

Guided the design of the tracker which include mechanical steel structures and steel coatings to ensure ease of manufacture, minimized costs, and improved throughput. Controlled the complete design life cycle, including performance analysis and reporting, continuous improvement, and detailed drawings using the ANSI Y14.5 standard.- Lead the development of the Fast Clip module mounting system which has been deployed on over 1GW of projects.- Created the wire management and routing for the tracker. The routing and wire management devices had to meet UL 2703, meet cost targets, and pass reliability tests.

Controlled component design, prototyping, development, and technical documentation for a global leader in electric vehicle technologies. Deployed a team of plastics production technicians on multiple simultaneous projects, including the testing of new battery cooling designs.- Designed power train models in SolidWorks for the conversion of vehicles to fully electric including motor and transmission mounting, and accessory relocation.- Authorized technical manuals and oversaw inspection of first-run articles.- Designed and built composite molds for an overseas production facility.- Collaborated with other departments to test new designs in battery cooling.
