Co-Founder of Innovalens B.V a world leading inline manufacturing technology developer and provider for the moulding of semi-finished and finished intraocular and speciality contact lenses. Company acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2019.

Responsible for all Business Development activities for the surgical division (ophthalmology) including developing and managing the product portfolio and pricing strategy. Established a global client base (direct sales), distributors in some key markets, contract manufacturing agreements, technical support and coordinating new product development with the R & D team. Successfully generated revenue growth in excess of 20% annually after the initial restructuring and successfully established the company as the global market leader in terms of market share and research and development.

Responsible for all export sales and marketing activities for a medical device (ophthalmology) start-up company. Created a complete global sales network using local distributors and direct sales. Managed a team of Area Sales Managers (Asia, Europe and Rest of the World) as well as a marketing team. Developed a complete marketing strategy including the product portfolio/brand with premium (toric) and standard products. Set up a French subsidiary based in Paris. Successfully achieved strong revenue and created a well known and respected brand in the industry. Established strong collaboration with key opinion leaders (surgeons) for an innovative and technology leading product.
