Liaised with stake holders to assess and analyse their technology needs which were translated into systems specifications and used to procure or develop solutions to support the execution of the Secretariat’s strategic plan. Also provided specialist support for core information systems and held responsibility for database administration of mission critical databases. My role also encompassed integrating core systems and automating business processes to ensure a seamless experience for end users.Key Contributions:• Automated critical business processes such as approval workflows and document signing• Installed and configured content management systems such as Moodle and Nextcloud for various use cases • Built and deployed various Power BI dashboards to aid decision making and promote a data driven culture• Project Manager of the organisation’s Systems Integration Project• Supported the implementation, maintenance or migration of key information systems including Finance, HR, Procurement, Programme Management and Payroll• Migrated key information systems from on-premise infracstructure to cloud infrastructure

Managed information system projects to ensure that secure and high-quality information systems were implemented on schedule and within budget. This included documenting specifications; developing and managing project plans; and managing quality assurance through the development of test plans. I also supervised a total of 5 analysts including 3 business analysts and 2 software quality assurance analysts. Key Contributions:• Project Manager of core banking system implementation. Acted as project manager for the final 15 months of the project. The new core banking system was successfully launched in July 2017, which was within the original 36-month schedule, and had a total cost within our acceptable budget threshold. • Project Manager of the mobile application implementation. The development of the application was outsourced to an external party and was implemented within 6 months.• Implemented standard operating procedures (SOP) to address software quality assurance and proper change management controls for production systems.

Analysed business processes with the intent to make them more efficient and accurate by implementing appropriate information systems to support or automate these processes. Also provided server administration, database administration and technical support of all systems implemented.Key Contributions:• Lead the implementation of several IT systems which benefited operational efficiency and standardization. These systems are as follows: SAGE MAS500 Accounting System, SAGE ABRA Human Resource Management System, NUUO Camera Surveillance System, Rosemount Tank Gauging System, ACTAtek Biometric Attendance and Access Control System, Agile-Fleet Fleet Management System, Theta Oilfield Services Well Monitoring System and SharePoint 2010. • Acted as the Database Administrator of all implemented Systems.

I was contracted by the Belize Ministry of Education to develop the database and data access layer of an Education Management Information System (EMIS). The system housed data such as student information, teacher information, student grades, student attendance, student graduation rates, and many other important data points which the Ministry used for budget planning, capacity planning and many other decision making exercises.Key Contributions:• Model and build a 200+ table database in MySQL based on the client’s specifications and provide a detailed data dictionary• Write PHP functions in the Data Access Layer of the web application to query the database.• Develop reports and dashboards based on the provided requirements.
