Oversee Operations and Maintenance Activities to ensure continued optimal performance of eight utility scale solar farms in Ontario and Vermont.Co-ordinate with internal employees, third party contractors, vendors, regulators and consultants to ensure prompt and proper completion of maintenance projects, and ensure continued optimal performance of the solar farms. Direct and schedule works among 10 internal groundskeepers, technicians and maintenance staff.Oversee hiring of subcontractors as required to perform maintenance tasks (up to 200 part time employees/subcontractors in the winter months for snow removal activities). Includes initial pursuit of contractors, contract signings, supervision of works, and closing of projects.Manage Ontario office information technology and lead tech support in Ontario under direction of IT Manager at head office in Pennsylvania.Assist in development of new solar project opportunities in North America, the Caribbean and India including project design, meeting with potential contractors and permitting.
