Responsible for development of Electronic Health Record Cross Platform Applications, the web apps and services they communicate with for data processing, the interactions with the various data sources of the EHR’s and integration with numerous 3rd party services. Responsibilities include the design and architecture of numerous web services, web apps, and cross-platform/mobile applications; providing guidance and coordination on development efforts within the project SCRUM teams and providing technical documentation and knowledge of our systems to customers and internal employees. Technologies utilized are C#, .NETStandard2.0, ASP.NET Core, Azure Cloud Computing Services, Amazon Web Services, Azure DevOps, Xamarin Forms, VS 2022, VS Code, HTML5, CSS, Vue.js, JSON, Couchbase Lite, Sql Server, and MongoDB. Utilized Team City to create numerous CI/CD builds resulting in various deployments and NuGet packages for use throughout the company. Recently begun using Azure DevOps for new Message Processing build and deployments into Azure to support WebApi, Function Apps, and Service Bus Queues for integration with numerous internal REST systems. One of the mobile applications created is the Anywhere app, which is a meta-data driven application where the UI is built at runtime and executed dynamically for all application data, lookup data, relational data, and filter data. The application works in a disconnected state after initial sync utilizing Couchbase.Lite local storage. Also uses SignalR for real-time communication to other apps when connected to the web service. Created an internal Tools application utilizing T4 Templates to generate code for multiple languages, including C#, Java, Swift, TypeScript, Cache, and Go off of a canonical JSON model.

Responsible for core system design, architecture, and development for all .Net applications and leading technical teams for new project development efforts. Responsibilities include the design and architecture of business applications, creating detailed technical documentation on the applications, building teams to create the applications, lead the development of all tiers of the .Net code, Sql Server and Oracle database objects, coordinate with BSA’s, PM’s, DBA’s, and the QA department to fulfill the SDLC, and work with the SCM team to implement the applications into production. To optimize development efforts, built an internal application to generate numerous database and application code layers automatically based upon a database schema utilizing the CodeDom functionality within .Net. This effort resulted in 50% reduction in development time for all new application development efforts. Technologies utilized for all development efforts are Visual Studio .Net 2002/2003/2005 (C# and VB.Net), VS 2005 Team System, Sql Server Enterprise tools, Oracle tools, TOAD, MS Enterprise Library, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Infragistics controls. A personal goal that was achieved was to create a detailed development standards document for .Net coding. This was done to ensure that multiple developers could work on various projects using this document and the resulting code would appear as though one developer had worked on it. Frequently hold code reviews on all project code prior to handing off to QA to ensure that standards were met. Details for C#, VB.Net, Sql Server, and Oracle development were included.

Responsible for gathering requirement specifications, designing and developing applications to service those requirements, documenting and troubleshooting the applications, training users on application procedures, and implementing the applications. Focus of software engineering efforts towards the Finance and Accounting department, Domestic and International Sales departments, Marketing department, Medicare/Managed Care Reimbursement departments, Customer and Technical Support departments, and the Executive Staff. Projects included design and development of Order Entry module, Budgeting module, Information Request module, Automatic Bank Deposit module, Medicare/Managed Care module, and various other enhancements to existing financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, and Inventory Control.
