Software Architect / Lead Software Engineer
CurrentResponsible for development of Electronic Health Record Cross Platform Applications, the web apps and services they communicate with for data processing, the interactions with the various data sources of the EHR’s and integration with numerous 3rd party services. Responsibilities include the design and architecture of numerous web services, web apps, and cross-platform/mobile applications; providing guidance and coordination on development efforts within the project SCRUM teams and providing technical documentation and knowledge of our systems to customers and internal employees. Technologies utilized are C#, .NETStandard2.0, ASP.NET Core, Azure Cloud Computing Services, Amazon Web Services, Azure DevOps, Xamarin Forms, VS 2022, VS Code, HTML5, CSS, Vue.js, JSON, Couchbase Lite, Sql Server, and MongoDB. Utilized Team City to create numerous CI/CD builds resulting in various deployments and NuGet packages for use throughout the company. Recently begun using Azure DevOps for new Message Processing build and deployments into Azure to support WebApi, Function Apps, and Service Bus Queues for integration with numerous internal REST systems. One of the mobile applications created is the Anywhere app, which is a meta-data driven application where the UI is built at runtime and executed dynamically for all application data, lookup data, relational data, and filter data. The application works in a disconnected state after initial sync utilizing Couchbase.Lite local storage. Also uses SignalR for real-time communication to other apps when connected to the web service. Created an internal Tools application utilizing T4 Templates to generate code for multiple languages, including C#, Java, Swift, TypeScript, Cache, and Go off of a canonical JSON model.
